ArchivesWSR: girls from France…    The ‘French kiss’… made by Renault, that is car racing the French way: it is classy, prestigious and sexy. This weekend, one can discover these “girls” from France on the ‘croisette’ of the Eau Rouge. Each and every one of these is a feast for your eyes and presents a high end range. Thanks to the 3.5’s, the 2.0’s, the EuroCup Mégane and the Clio, spectators see only the best of the best. While the lord of the house is spoiled because he not only sees one tempting model after another touring the race-track, but is also introduced to a real F1 demonstration car, the lady of the house and her children get plenty of fun too. They are offered an unforgettable weekend, thanks to the great amount of animation and other attractions that take place in the paddocks. The young ones will not know what to choose from first. There are inflatable castles, supersized parlour games, make up and drawing corners and last but not least a sweets stall. Their mothers can in their turn start to daydream about their future ideal Renault, because the entire range of road vehicles will be on display. These ladies can also muse about the days of their youth, because Renault cars of all possible era’s will be showcased. In short, for once all of the family members will have a smile on their faces. But still there is a little extra for the man of the house, because he will be able to support the children and nephews of true champions. In the F1, he can applaud Bruno Senna, nephew of the former champion and test driver in a F1 team. Carlos Sainz junior, son of the famous rally champion, takes the wheel of a Formula 2.0. Earlier this season, this young talent already won a race and also once finished in second place. The Matador can be proud, the changing of the guard has already taken place. When looking at things from a Belgian point of view, we must mention we expect a 5 star performance of RACB driver Stoffel Vandoorne. It can be expected he will claim a place on the podium in the Formula 2.0. We must finally add the races of the EuroCup Clio and the Mégane to the ones summed up before. They will present dense pelotons of cars, that always guarantee a fierce battle. In short, there will be plenty to see and this also goes for the numerous cars from the Renault family, in which all of the years of construction are mixed, the rally virtuoso Jeannot Ragnotti, etcetera.
