The 2023 Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps sporting calendar once again promises a season with a wealth of premium quality, diverse championships, national and international events, that are top-range, diverse and with some truly exciting times. After a year in 2022 that broke all records of attendence for numerous organisers, the show will be full on again next year.
Motorsport fans will enjoy at least 24 weekends of sporting events from the end of March to the end of October, on the legendary Ardennes circuit.
Though a number of its traditional dates have been amended, the calendar still retains its headline acts while also holding onto the other national and international races and events that have made it famous! The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps also wants to thank all its organisers for their flexibility and their unfailing presence at the Circuit for many years now.

“The preparation of the 2023 calendar will have been particularly taxing this year, but I am delighted with the resulting programme, with a season well balanced between the different motorsport disciplines, world championships and local organisations, and all with special attention paid to events that are popular and attractive for the Circuit’s loyal public. In this regard, the return to Spa-Francorchamps of the Ferrari Challenge on one hand, and of the Bug Show on the other, are testament to our firm intention to offer varied and accessible events.
With the Circuit’s team, and able to draw on the expertise of companies in the region, we are preparing a circuit where everyone will have an enjoyable time in 2023 and for many years to come. I also want to oversee the development of a local anchorage for our formidable international facility, as it is with and through local talent that we succeed in gripping the imagination of so many people, both in Belgium and internationally”.
The Brûleurs de Gommes will get the ball rolling in the new track season at the beginning of April with a richly-colourful event. The world championships of motorsport will be present as usual, of course, with the Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix at the end of July, the 24 Hours of Spa from the end of June to the start of July, the WEC at the end of April and the ELMS the 4th weekend of September. Oldtimer fans will enjoy the Spa Classic, the Spa Summer Classic and the Spa Six Hours.
The 25 Hours VW Fun Cup, the 24H2CV, and the 12H Spa-Francorchamps will complete the endurance race calendar. Let’s not forget the International GT Open, Spa Euro Race, Spa Racing Festival, Porsche Club Francorchamps Days or the Spa Italia and Spa Asia and the Super Spa and Franco Fun Festival events.
We also note the return on track of the Bug Show along with the Ferrari Challenge Europe after two years of absence. The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps will no longer host the World Rallycross Championship from 2023, so that will be a year of transition for the Stadium space that was reserved for it. New projects will see the light of day there that will put the general public at the centre of the Circuit’s attention both on sporting and entertaining levels.
Two-wheelers are also not forgotten on the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. The Bikers’ Classics will put entertaining activities at the heart of their event in mid-August, having offered a “new look” edition in 2022 that really appealed to the public. The traditional 6 Hours Motos, the renowned endurance event, will take place on Sunday 27 August, preceded the previous evening by the parade to Spa. Finally, the second edition of the Belgian round of the FIM World Endurance Championship, the 24H SPA EWC Motos will roll out in mid-June. After a first edition lauded by the motorcycle world, this race will be sure to attract new spectators with particular attention brought to the activities.
Apart from competition, the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps track offers fans of motorsports a multitude of trackdays and event days on the track but also off-track events accessible to all from 16 March to the 14 November.
