The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps will be the first round of this Super Season next year.
The bikes invade the Track !
Bikers’ Day on June 29, followed by the Bikers’ Classics from June 30 until July 2. On July 3, the Circuit will be welcoming the Tour de France competitors before being dedicated again to motorbikes. Bike fans will be perfectly happy in the coming days, and be able to schedule a very long weekend with some friends or relatives! STRONG FIELD ANNOUNCED AS SPA MAKES WORLD RX DEBUT
The entry list for the Spa World RX of Benelux, round three of the FIA World Rallycross Championship on May 11-12 has been released by the FIA. 21 drivers will battle for glory at the world famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit, which includes the heralded Eau Rouge section of the Formula 1 track. 2016 Drivers’ Champion Mattias Ekstrom will return to the sport in the Audi S1 he used to win the Championship. Spa 400
The Spa 400 400-minute race, taking on the mantle as the heir to a Belgian endurance tradition on the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, is set to return for the 2018 season. Touring cars, Silhouettes and GTs will be in attendance for a richly-varied weekend. Organised by the BGDC, this meeting will allow so-called ‘amateur’ competitors (but in the end not really such amateurs) to take part in a real endurance race. The Ardennes toboggan will host the second round of the Endurance World Championship, following its return to the EWC calendar two years ago. The 24H SPA EWC Motos is guaranteed, of course, to be a spectacular show on the track but there are also other activities during the race weekend. The Spa World Rallycross of Benelux track revealed
2019 will mark the first edition of the Spa World Rallycross of Benelux. The third round of the FIA Rallycross World Championship will take place on the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps on 11th & 12th of May. European Le Mans Series (ELMS)
A major première, the ELMS Championship arrives this weekend, the 23th, 24th and 25th September for the first time in Belgium. This will be the season's fifth leg of the European Le Mans Series, a competition reserved for LMP2 prototypes (cars which were here in force during the WEC in May) and LMP3s, which are also prototypes. . Around thirty 2CV Cup cars will take to the track on Saturday morning for a 2-hour race, and then the Mitjets will take their place on the track all afternoon. The Circuit of Spa Francorchamps reopens to the public
After several major events over the course of the summer that allowed the public to return to the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, spectators and fans of motorsports from now on will have daily access once again to the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps site. All activities taking place on the Circuit, both on weekdays and at the weekend, will once again be accessible without masks or social distancing upon presentation of the Covid Safe Ticket (health Pass) at the Circuit's entrances. Once again this year the WEC 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps will be welcoming several thousand enthusiasts over three days.
