Vision, missions & values

OUR VISION

The Spa-Francorchamps Circuit aims to be one of Wallonia’s leading hubs for economic, sporting and tourism development, through collaboration with the biggest players in motorsport, welcoming more than one million spectators per year, and attracting investment in innovative initiatives.

The Spa-Francorchamps Circuit is committed to achieving financial independence by 2029, enhancing its attractiveness and enabling the continued development of the infrastructures of the world’s most beautiful circuit.

OUR MISSIONS

As a major economic, sporting and tourism player contributing to the development of its surroundings, the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit pursues the following missions:

  • Contribute to the region’s economic vitality;
  • Develop resilient infrastructures;
  • Offer a varied entertainment programme to a broad national and international audience;
  • Implement an ambitious environmental action plan;
  • Enable innovations from motorsport to be transferred to society as a whole;
  • Strengthen ties with local communities through a concrete societal programme.

OUR VALUES

EXCELLENCE

The Spa-Francorchamps Circuit team is fully committed to delivering services in line with what is expected of the world’s most beautiful circuit. The team strives for excellence in every action. Initiative is encouraged: everyone has an important role that contributes to the overall project. This commitment serves the passion that connects the venue, the event, the drivers and the public.

SUSTAINABILITY / LONG-TERM COMMITMENT

With more than a century of history and a rich tangible and intangible heritage, the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit is part of a very long-term project. The team works toward this by developing and maintaining its infrastructures and by pursuing a financial trajectory aimed at the company’s independence.

PARTNERSHIP

The biggest events held at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit cannot exist without the Circuit, and the Circuit cannot thrive without the championships, organisers, service providers, volunteers—in short, all partners. Only collaboration around a shared project enables major achievements each season.

To support major events, diversify the range of activities offered on site, and develop innovative projects, the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit adopts a partnership approach, open to new ideas and working with flexibility.

ETHICS

As an infrastructure hosting the biggest motorsport competitions, and given its iconic status in motor racing, the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit applies high standards in its management, including human resources, and in the conduct of its business: rigour, integrity, and respect for diversity.

RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibility is not the concern of one individual; it is collective and involves the continuous search for solutions so that our infrastructure is safer (for workers, the public and users), more sustainable and protective of the environment, and increasingly open to local communities—so that the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit’s societal project has an ever more positive impact on our region. The company’s economic responsibility is fully taken into account, and the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit pursues the goal of maximising economic benefits for the region.
