Bad weather at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps
Circuit. In particular, the Blanchimont road, giving access to the paddocks, has partially collapsed and the Ster and Blanchimont tunnels are impassable. The track itself has not been impacted but its bordering areas do not allow us to ensure that... conditions. It has been decided, in agreement with its client of the day, to interrupt the Circuit’s activities this Thursday in order to ensure everyone's safety and to repair the impacted infrastructure and facilities as quickly as possibly. The Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is organising a driving evening and track introduction sessions to support disaster victims in the region
To aid those impacted by the floods that have left everyone in Belgium grief-stricken, the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is organising a driving evening (95Db max) on the 9th September between 6 pm and 8 pm with proceeds allocated to those affected.... Redistribution of the funds collected between the communities impacted will be carried out by the ASBL’s Administrative Council that includes the 20 municipalities of the Verviers district.
