The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps begins resurfacing almost half of its track in three sections.
Some sections of the runway will be resurfaced, representing a total of 3.5 km of runway and over 600 m of pitlane, or some 43,000 sq. m. of surface area. The new tarmac will be laid on the following bends: - from T17 to T2, i.e. from the Blanchimont bend to the Eau Rouge bend, including the fastlane of the F1 pitlane - T4 to T8, from Kemmel to the Brussels bend - From T14 to T15, i.e. from the Campus bend to the Paul Frère bend. Before the bike ride, there will be numerous activies and entertainment offered in the Beau Vélo village starting at 9. 30 am and there's a free breakfast and t-shirt on offer for the first 800 participants!
