C’était il y a 35 ans… déjà ! Quelques joyeux drilles ont eu l’idée saugrenue d’organiser sur le Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps une épreuve de 24 heures réservée aux 2CV Citroën ! Il suffisait alors d’équiper une ‘deuche’, le plus souvent récupérée à la casse, d’un arceau de sécurité, de harnais, coupe-circuit, siège baquet, et de bricoler quelques améliorations ‘course’ pour pouvoir engager l’engin dans cette épreuve atypique. C’était fun, bon marché, mais sportif puisque le pilotage de ce drôle
