Construction works on the Endurance grandstand and terraces have begun at the Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps
After an exceptional year in terms of attendence at races and sporting events, the general public remains the centre of attention at the Circuit. With this in mind a new phase of works has started so that high quality infrastructure and facilities can be offered to our spectators, completing those works that took place last year. The track season had not yet closed when the works began on 10 October on the construction of the new grandstand and terraces opposite the Endurance pits, along the

Over the next few weeks, we will be showing you regularly some photos of the progress of the works taking place on the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in our #workinprogress section. Today, you can discover the works related to the infrastructure around the track: the Raidillon and the grandstand in front of the Endurance pits.
Renovation work on the Circuit's infrastructure have started
The renovation works of the Circuit infrastructures to be carried out within the more general framework of the investments announced last year for the return of motorcycle endurance on the track in 2022 with the 24H SPA MOTOS of the FIM EWC World Championship have started. The paddocks are also entitled to their facelift with a renovation of the red Paddock area, part of which goes down one floor for a better configuration of the site! ☺

The works intended to obtain the double FIA/FIM official approval that will allow the return of motorcycle endurance to Spa-Francorchamps started on the 15th of November. A month before that the construction machines had started working on the area bordering the track. These works are part of an overall strategy aimed at diversification of activities on the Circuit and the modernisation of its infrastructure and is divided into two main areas: The Track: To host the 24H SPA EWC Motos on 4 & 5

After the first two events of the season, the Fun Cup heads to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit for the Franco Fun Festival on May 4 and 5.
