De Federale en Lokale Politie gaan opnieuw samenwerken voor een vlot verloop van dit evenement, dat dit jaar zeer bijzonder zal zijn. Gewoonlijk neemt de Geïntegreerde Politie maatregelen om de toegang tot het circuit van Spa-Francorchaps te vergemakkelijken. 8 hours of endurance on the toboggan of the Ardennes.
The Ardennes toboggan will host the second round of the Endurance World Championship, following its return to the EWC calendar two years ago. The 8 hours of Spa Motos will be played on a two-day concentrated format. Free practice and qualifying will... discipline. Het is zover, het Circuit hervat zijn voltijdse activiteiten en de bolides staan klaar om de piste op te gaan voor opwindend nieuw seizoen. Voordat de wedstrijden op 1 april opnieuw van start gaan, met de Trophée des Fagnes, zal deze vrijdag 17 maart de Spa Rally langs het Circuit passeren. In de vooravond, vanaf 17u, staat er een speciale proef van bijna 11km gepland, die volledig op onze site plaatsvindt. Op 22 & 23 maart zijn er dan de Officiële Test Days van het Circuit, oefendagen
Trophée des Fagnes
Het is nu al een tiental jaren dat de Trophée des Fagnes het sportieve seizoen op het Circuit van Spa-Francorchamps mag openen. Een wedstrijd voorbehouden voor liefhebbers en gelijkgestelden met twee mythische voertuigen : 2CV Cup en Fun Cup en ten slotte de Mitjets. Een dertigtal 2CV Cup wagens verschijnen vanaf zaterdagochtend op de piste voor een wedstrijd van twee uren, waarna ze tot het einde van de namiddag plaatsmaken voor de Mitjets. Persbericht Covid-19 - Verlenging van de maatregelen in België Op woensdag 15 april nam de Belgische Nationale Veiligheidsraad het besluit om de beperking van de bewegingsvrijheid op Belgisch grondgebied te verlengen tot en met 3 mei, in de strijd tegen de Covid-19-pandemie. Het Circuit van Spa-Francorchamps zal bijgevolg dus gesloten zijn tot en met 3 mei. De Nationale Veiligheidsraad heeft ook besloten om massa-evenementen tot en met 31 augustus te verbieden.
